Welcome to an historic The Times and The Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival.
This year’s hybrid Festival gave audiences the opportunity to attend events as part of a socially distanced physical audience or watch for free as they were live-streamed for the first time in the history of the world’s oldest literature festival.
Over ten days, some of the biggest names in publishing this autumn joined us for over 170 events covering fiction, non-fiction, poetry, spoken word artists and new voices delving into a range of topics including travel and adventure, food and drink, lifestyle, history, art and religion.
Our schools and family programme in The Den has 34 events to inspire and entertain, including draw-alongs, storytelling, facts, fiction and the prestigious CLiPPA (Centre for Literacy in Primary Poetry Award) award for published poetry for children.
