There is no doubt that the pandemic has changed the world. Will globalisation, the root of much prosperity and inequality, survive, or does this moment present us with an opportunity to revolutionise our economic system and invest in a model that has humanity’s best interests at heart? As financial markets reel from the economic fallout of coronavirus, Professor of Globalisation and Development Ian Goldin (Terra Incognita), economist and senior economic adviser at HSBC Holdings Stephen D. King and others take stock at this pivotal moment in our economic history. Together with Director of Chatham House Robin Niblett they consider the challenges and opportunities faced by the global economy as we move into the future.

Listen to Ian Goldin‘s Reasons: The pandemic that changed the world.
