We adore our NHS, but internally it is complex, segmented, and hampered by entrenched ways of working. During the height of the Coronavirus emergency this vast organisation of over 1.5 million employees instigated huge change almost overnight. How was this achieved and how did it feel to be working on the frontline? Our panel of three NHS insiders: Chris Hopson, Chief Executive NHS Providers, the GP and coronavirus survivor Clare Gerada, and the intensive care consultant Daniele Bryden join the business psychologist and specialist in organisational behaviour Clive Lewis (Toxic: A guide to rebuilding respect and tolerance in a hostile workplace) to reflect on an extraordinary period of upheaval. Will there be a return to the old ways of working or will positive change come from within?
Daniele Bryden will now be participating in this event digitally.
