Cunard Landmarks

For the past 180 years Cunard has been bringing people together, introducing guests from all over the world to extraordinary adventures and experiences. The Cunard fleet of Queens – Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth – takes you to a world of iconic destinations and inspiring journeys. From short breaks to fortnights in the Mediterranean, to the legendary Transatlantic Crossing and exotic World Voyages, sailing with Cunard is always an unforgettable experience, with the freedom to do as much or as little as you please.

Having the largest libraries at sea and having hosted some of the most famous authors and journalists past and present, it was only a matter of time that a partnership with the world’s oldest and most renowned literature festival would be formed.

Cunard, The Times and The Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival are in their third year of working together to celebrate the written word in all its wonderful variations.

On land, we take part in the UK’s oldest literary festival, presenting a series of Author Events and hosting the Writers’ Lounge in association with Cunard.

At sea, the Festival comes alive on board Queen Mary 2, with a Transatlantic Crossing like no other… The Literature Festival at Sea. Seven days on Cunard’s flagship sailing between Southampton and New York bringing the spirit of the Festival to the high seas.

The Literature Festival at Sea offers book lovers an incredible opportunity to join some of the best-loved authors, historians, poets, and critics, as well as journalists from The Times and The Sunday Times.
