Sky Arts are proud to be back as a partner of the festival for a second year running. By the time this years’ festival comes around we will have taken the channel ‘free to air’, making it accessible to everyone in the UK.
As the UK’s only channel dedicated to arts and culture, our mission is to increase access to and drive participation in the arts, at a vital time for the cultural sector. With a renewed focus on bringing more of the arts to more people, Sky Arts will support and champion the arts – putting artists, creatives, and public participation centre stage
We will also have a bold new slate of original programmes covering all genres of arts and culture from music, drama, dance and opera to art, architecture and photography, and increased partnerships with artists and arts organisations, providing them with a platform to create and showcase their work. And to support new talent, the channel will launch a series of bursaries that will see leading figures from the arts support and mentor diverse and emerging new artists.
Sky Arts. For everyone.
Sky Arts will be showcasing highlights from Cheltenham Literature Festival 2020. From 17th September Sky Arts is available to Sky TV and Virgin Media TV customers and to Freeview customers on channel 11.
